ATHLETE OF THE MONTH: SEPTEMBER

Our Athlete of the Month for September is… VIC B.! Vic is one of Hardware’s very favorite guys and if you’ve ever had the pleasure of working out with him, you know all of the reasons why! SAVED BY THE BARBELL

This Saturday morning (9/8) the 9am and 10am classes will be performing the “Saved By The Barbell” Workout. If you register at the link below, you’ll get a sweet t-shirt and all proceeds go towards an organization dedicated to providing better nutritional and physical education for children in schools. This means better food in cafeterias, removing sugary drinks from vending machines, better training for teachers, better equipment, etc. This cause is near and dear to my heart so I hope you’ll register and contribute to the cause!

BACK SQUAT:

Complete 25 reps in as few sets as possible at 65-70% of your 1RM.

 

 

CONDITIONING

 

In a Team of 3, complete the following FOR TIME…

 

Men’s Team of 3: 240 cal Bike or Row (Rotate athletes every 20 Cals)

Women’s Team of 3: 204 cal Bike or Row (Rotate athletes every 17 Cals)
